Mar 20, 2015 AC Ride

Peg and Carol from Sonoma, CA joined Pam, Wendy and myself for a fun roller coaster type ride going through 5 small towns on the way to coffee at the Trailhead Cafe. There Wendy treated us, thanx! Then another climb got us to the Flower Farm, a beautiful nursery. The riders needed to see a small wine tasting facility, we looked only, no tasting at this time. About 30 miles with about 1500 ft of climbing.

Sunday Rides

This was taken Mar 1 on a Sunday ride where we stop to visit the Llamas. We were lucky, they won't always come over to us.

Beautiful Day for a Ride

Gail sent me a movie clip today.   We need to make sure all the things they want to do on their ride work.  They definitely want to take videos and post them.

Gail took this at the end of Pleasant Grove Blvd.  Right now, there are still lots of fields around but that will end sooner than we would like.  In the meantime, this is the perfect time to enjoy the surroundings.

Thanks for sending it, Gail.  The next step will be for you to upload a movie.

"Getting to know you"

Donna, Susan, Peg, Wendy, Pam
It is always nice to ride with people you know.  As Gail & Wendy discovered, several of the gals who will be on their Atlantic Coast trip live in California.  They have arranged to ride with several of them at different times just to get acquainted.  This particular ride was in the Sonoma area.  Look at those dark clouds in the background.  I understand it is a lot worse on the East Coast.  Hopefully, the skies will be sunny and bright by the time the Atlantic Coast ride starts.

This is from Gail:  Check the huge black cloud behind us.  It chased us back to Peg's then opened up and dropped marble size hail! Really exciting! Quite a day
