Day 42 East Windsor CT to Sturbridge, MA 40 miles

We made it! 7 days without a day off and there are many tired ladies. We've had 2 really poor riding days; rain yesterday, mist today and both were very hilly! I'm so happy to be here, warm, fed and stretched out on my bed, couldn't be better. It's hard to believe we are closing in on the finish line. We have 7 more riding days to get us to Bar Harbor! But first tomorrow is a rest day and that's what I plan to do with maybe trip to a guess what...bike shop!

This started our ride across the Hudson. I think it's the longest walkway across a river.

Great views and so fun to ride with Diana, Wendy's watching us.

Gate finishing the Hudson Walkway.

Yesterday's view from our room.

This was taken as we checked into our Highland, NY hotel. What a sight! The whole huge tree was brought down in about 3 hours. It was mostly put through the shredder with large pieces hauled off. Then they were gone.

  1. You ladies are so awesome, so hang in there and it will be worth it. Sending you some warmth, since we have had beautiful 70 ish weather here. Brenda and I hiked up the mountain today and had lunch while we talked about all of you. :)
