Today's ride was 68 miles and the first part of the day is dealing with bad roads, logging trucks, lots of traffic. Then we got on quieter roads and mainly forest land, but late in the day we rode past many old plantations. Some of these were not accessible and some were open to the public. My riding partners and myself were tired from the 81 miles from the previous day,so we kept moving. My pictures are all from the ending town of Georgetown, which was very old and on the Santee River, and has a huge rice history. There was beautiful old mansions and lunch was at a seafood grill, with great food.
Last night's dinner was chicken, rice, and peas, salad, greens, and smoothies for dessert.
Tomorrow's forecast is for rain, but we have a shorter ride of 52 miles to Conway SC.
