Day 37 New Hope to Easton PA

Today was a 40 mile ride, which actually was 38 miles, along the Delaware River. We crossed into New Jersey for much of the ride. The cities we passed through were New Hope,Lambertville NJ,Frenchtown,Milford,Rieglesville,Carpentersville,Philipsburg, and then over the bridge to Easton PA.
The ride was beautiful and got to our hotel by noon. That is unheard of for Gail and I and we were with Marilyn, the Kiwi, and 2 new riders that rode with us on the Southern Tier ride in 2013. They pass me on the hills while carrying panniers and they are riding 3 days with us. Tomorrow is there last day. We all drop our bikes off at the hotel and went to lunch at a Spanish restaurant and I told Sherry,Diana, and Dori to meet us there. They came and we had mini reunion with them, but they couldn't stay as they were taking Sherry to a dentist for a chipped tooth. We will have dinner tonight together. We went to the Crayola store in Easton,as the factory is here and took pictures inside, and then ice cream. It was a good day. If you don't see any pictures,it is because they won't come over from the IPhone, but they will be put on the blog at some point. It is really nice to see someone from home and I will get all the updates on the bicycle club tonight at dinner. Miss you all.

  1. Wondered if your riding on a bike trail or road by the railroad. Love the scenery.
