Day 10 Blackshear to Glennville, GA

Today we left the Comfort Inn bright and early on our way to Glennville. We all were lost, including the Sag, within .2 miles! Great start! All was worked out by many GPS devices and our great sag driver quickly getting us on our way. We are becoming quite familiar with the Georgia Slash Pines we see along the way. They are some of the ones used to make telephone poles so they are very tall and straight. The logging trucks that carry the cut ones by us smell of a wonderful fresh pine aroma. At about 21 miles there was a call to the sag of a closed road due to a bridge that was out. So there we were trying to figure out the next step. Then our very own Wendy said well the two first riders went down the road and haven't returned. Off we all went. It was close to 3 miles down this country road where we came to the bridge. Turns out by walking across it was fine and we continued on. We were on true rural country roads that were quiet and quite nice. We did have that very strong headwind which is just making us stronger for when the climbing begins. Thanks!
