Day 16 Georgetown to Conway, SC 52 miles

Well, what to say about today. It rained all day!! We left in the rain and there were some sprinkles still going on when we arrived back. So that makes for little to say about the day. Our sag driver, Carolyn and guide, Patty were very busy keeping track of all of us. A route was changed for safety and due to the rain. That meant the riders had to be found and given the new roads to use. The very fast riders may not always get caught because of getting out in front so far. I did get lost getting into town and luckily was given directions by a local that got me back on track. But all made it in safely and rumor has it we're having pizza for dinner! Yea, this does give our cook, Emily an eaiser dinner since it will be delivered, I think. Emily has worked so hard and really could use some rest time for herself.

Cakes from a Georgetown bakery that were sent to all from May, a rider from the cross country 2013 ride. May had a home here and knew of this wonderful bakery. Pictured are the 9 of us who rode together in 2013. All 34 enjoyed May's treat!
Avery wet me!  It may not show it but I was soaked!
